Arvind Balachandrasekaran was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow with the IMAGINE group at the Computational Radiology Laboratory at Harvard Medical School, Boston Children's Hospital. He completed his PhD under the supervision of Professor Mathews Jacob in the Computational Biomedical Imaging Group (CBIG) at the University of Iowa. His PhD research focused on the development of algorithms to solve inverse problems in various MRI applications. At IMAGINE, Arvind developed computational methods for magnetic resonance image processing and reconstruction including susceptibility-weighted imaging, quantitative susceptibility mapping, and functional MRI, to analyze early human brain development.
